Dragon’s Head Cider is an award-winning cidery on Vashon Island, WA, founded in 2010. We are an orchard-based local producer, crafting high quality cider and perry, and selling though a retail tasting room, at regional farmer’s markets, though our club and online store, and through distribution in Washington and Oregon.
CIDER AMBASSADOR
This team member would host customers at our Uptown tasting room, and/or at our Orchard location seasonally.
Ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly organized individual who is also passionate about the local food and beverage movement. Ideal candidate is interested in learning about our ciders, has experience in the hospitality industry (front of house, bartending, etc.), and is able to provide a high level of customer service to our visitors.
Position Responsibilities
- Providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Conducting sales of cider, food, and other retail inventory
- Offering tastings of our ciders for guests
- Answering questions about our cider making process and our orchard
- Managing inventory of the products and associated record keeping
- Light book keeping associated with a cash box and credit card processing
- Keeping the tasting room area and supplies clean and well organized
Position Requirements
- Must have a Class 12 server permit
- Must have a WA state food handler card
- Must be able to lift cases of cider and full 1/6 barrel kegs
Work Schedule and Compensation
- This is a part time position. Some schedule flexibility is possible.
Compensation is $18/hour plus gratuity from guests.
